Aww, I love your voice of reason Luke! Also, I adore him for being shocked that the Cohens are so close to Julie after she tried to frame Ryan for attempted murder. Your Luke just says everything the audience wants Ryan to hear--but amazingly, you still make him sound like Luke. I'm so impressed that you can do that.
There's also some delicious humor slipped into this story. The ending alone is priceless: If he explains that he's breaking up with her because of Luke, she might misunderstand it. Hee!
By the way, this was a natural place to end this story, since it was all about Ryan coming to the realization that he needed to break up with Marissa. But if you felt inspired, I'd love a sequel where he actually does it.
